Import Designation Types

You can import designation type information from the Designations tab of an open case.

To import designation information, select the Designations tab from the open case and follow the steps below:

  1. Click the Import Designations button.

    2. The File Explorer appears.

  2. Navigate to the designation import file.

    3. Find the file location on your machine. An example of a comma delimited import file may look like this:

    The first entry on a line is the designation name, the second entry on the line is the designation color, and the third entry on the line is the option party name. Notice in the example above, the first half of the designations have a party defined. The last half do not.

  3. Select the file.

  4. Click Open.

    5. The designations are added to the case and appear in the Designations table.
