I'm trying to install TrialDirector 360 and I do not see my mapped network drives listed in Browse for Folder dialog. Where are they?
During installation, you should not reference mapped network drives. Instead, type the UNC path to the drive in the Browse field in the installation wizard.
During Case Director 360 installation, my machine unexpectedly rebooted and then a message stating that TrialDirector 360 failed to deploy displayed. What do I do?
The machine restarted because it was installing Review prerequisites that required a restart. After the Review module installation is complete, you will need to restart the TrialDirector 360 installer.
When I attempt to play any multimedia in TrialDirector 360, in EVIDENCE and Case Story a blank window displays. In PRESENT and Presentation Preview, the following error displays, "The following file(s) could not be found or failed to open." Why is this happening?
In Windows Features, Windows Media Player must be enabled or all multimedia will fail to playback in TrialDirector 360 and Case Story. In some installations of Windows, the Windows Media Player is not enabled by default.
EVIDENCE
Why can I not pop out item panels in TrialDirector 360 EVIDENCE in the web client?
While the web client does support a pop out feature, this feature is not supported on Microsoft's Internet Explorer or Edge browsers. Consider using the float feature available on both application versions, or download and use a supported browser.
Can I manually change the start and stop times for a clip segment?
The Clip Segments area shows the segments that make up the clip. By selecting a segment, options to manage or manipulate the segment become active.
- To change the start time, click in the Punch In cell and manually type the start time for the current segment.
- To change the stop time, click in the Punch Out cell and manually type the stop time for the current segment.
My PDF file did not process properly and displayed an error message. What happened?
Some PDF files may contain embedded fonts which may not be installed on your PC. In the event that a PDF with incompatible fonts cannot be processed, the error message: "Unable to process, possible unsupported file type or missing font" displays. To prevent this error, it is recommended that you install the font packages included with Microsoft Office.
PRESENT
Why don't annotations disappear from a callout when I use the "Show / Hide Annotations" function in the Control Toolbox area?
When using the "Show / Hide Annotations" function within the Control Toolbox area, any annotations placed within an active projection callout window are not affected. Only those annotations placed within the source area are affected. However, if the "Show Annotations" and the "Hide Annotations" buttons on the Presentation Toolbar are used, then the annotations placed within the projection callout window are affected as well as those on the source. The reason is that projections like the callout were never built to honor the "Show / Hide Annotations" tools so that you can turn off the annotations and draw on the projection independently.
Why can't I resize the Presentation Preview window to fit my laptop screen?
When using Presentation Preview, the Preview screen uses the aspect ratio of the Presentation screen. If the Presentation screen is displayed on a 4:3 aspect ratio display - the Preview screen shows the Presentation stage at the same 4:3 aspect ratio. If you have a 16:9 aspect ratio laptop display that is connected to a 4:3 aspect projector, the Presentation Preview window on the 16:9 screen will be fixed to a 4:3 aspect ratio in order to adhere to the projector display settings.
